Iyomeito is a whetstone with Iyome wood grain, which, as the name suggests, looks like it was carved from the trunk of a large tree. It was once called "Tiger" and was considered a third-grade product, but since the mountain where it is mined has changed, it has become a highly sought-after whetstone not only for its appearance but also for its high quality.
